LACMA is open all weekend after the holiday! This weekend marks the end of this season of Jazz at LACMA with the Bruce Eskovitz Jazz Orchestra. The group's style ranges from hard bop to funk, with the dynamism of a big band and the focus of a small ensemble. Next year's shows don't start up again until April 22, so come on out to the final event. The show starts at 6 pm on Friday in the L.A. Times Central Court.

Sundays Live features pianist Ory Shihor performing Schubert's Sonata in B-flat major, D. 960 and other works. Shihor has played the world over, including his critically-acclaimed performance of the Beethoven sonata cycle in Los Angeles. His performance begins at 6 pm in the Bing Theater.

For families, join the Boone Gallery staff on Friday at 2 pm for Story Time in the Galleries. Tours this weekend include the Art of Picasso on Friday at 1 pm, Frank Gehry on Saturday at 11 am, and Contemporary Art of the Middle East on Sunday at 2 pm.
