Reigning Men: Fashion in Menswear, 1715–2015 comes to life with art, style, music, and dancing on Friday, July 22, in partnership with DAPPER DAY, organizer of events celebrating "stepping out in style." Dress to impress and spend the day exploring LACMA. Enjoy docent tours of the exhibition and fashion-focused tours of LACMA’s permanent collection, then stick around for a free evening of jazz that will get you on your feet and onto the dance floor.

Dapper dress encouraged! This is your chance to step out in style at LACMA. All sophisticated attire is welcome, from vintage-inspired classics to contemporary looks. Need inspiration? Check out images from past DAPPER DAY Events and LACMA’s photo archive.

Below, the DAPPER DAY crowds strut their stuff in sharp looks from many eras at Disney Resorts in California, Florida, and France.

DAPPER DAY attendees aren’t the only people with excellent style. LACMA staff and visitors have been making fashion statements at the museum since the 1960s.

We look forward to seeing you express your personal style at DAPPER DAY + Jazz at LACMA: Celebrating Reigning Men: Fashion in Menswear this Friday.
