Do you ever think about what happens to your digital presence after you die? You may be gone from this world, but your Facebook comments, Instagram photos, and emails live on. This Saturday and Sunday, 2015 Art + Technology Lab grant recipient Gabriel Barcia-Colombo will host a workshop where participants will plan their digital afterlife. Learn about your options for digital preservation including 3D body scanning, wearable memorialization, and the embedding of personal data into everyday objects.

Also on Saturday, enjoy a special concert performed in the Agnes Martin gallery, featuring music inspired by Minimalist pioneer Terry Riley. With a program and ensemble hand-picked by the composer, The Indian Legacy of Terry Riley features some of Riley's classic works, along with a number of raga-based pieces.

Bring your kids to the museum of Sunday for Andell Family Sundays. Take a tour of The Stowe Vase and discover how one ancient Roman vase was so striking, it inspired three other artists to create their own versions of that same vase! Discover the differences among all vessels, and then make your own unique version.

Don’t forget that LACMA offers docent-led tours around the galleries. Learn more about Contemporary Art of the Middle East, LACMA Architecture + Art, and other works around the museum this weekend.
