Escape the rain this weekend at LACMA!

Hear a panel discussion in conjunction with special exhibition Picasso and Rivera: Conversations Across Time. Guest curator Jennifer Stager and contributing author Michele Greet will explore Picasso’s dynamic use of ancient Mediterranean sources, Diego Rivera's engagement with modernism while working in Paris and post-revolutionary Mexico, and the interesting points of convergence for both artists. This talk is free and open to the public.

Join LACMA Local members for Local: Bling, and create sculptural necklaces, bracelets, and brooches inspired by exhibition Beyond Bling: Jewelry from the Lois Boardman Collection. Unique materials such as plastic, fabric, and found objects will be used, and Locals are invited to bring in their own special items to include in their jewelry.

Step into the Bing Theater Sunday night and surround yourself with the musical stylings of the Chamber Ensembles from the Crossroads School. The Chamber Ensembles continues LACMA’s weekly chamber music series and features the best of national, international, Los Angeles and emerging artists. These one-hour concerts are presented free to the public at 6 pm each Sunday.
