This Weekend at LACMA

Celebrate the beginning of fall here at LACMA.

Check out Home—So Different, So Appealing, which features U.S. Latino and Latin American artists  who have used the deceptively simple idea of "home" as a powerful lens through which to view the profound socioeconomic and political transformations in the hemisphere. Make sure you see this powerful exhibition before it closes on October 15.

Get a microscopic look at the Bing Theater while you’re sitting right in its seats. Mapa Teatro brought objects from the theater to the Fossil Lab of the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum, where they researched the Bing's relics to unearth the theater's history. Check out the special screening Mapa Teatro’s Project 24 on Saturday.

On Sunday, kick off October with the first Andell Family Sunday of the month! This month, explore how designers in California and Mexico shared ideas to create fabuloso design in the special exhibition Found in Translation, and then create your own masterpieces!
