Special exhibition Frank Gehry closes on March 20, so be sure to visit in the next week. Frank Gehry presents a comprehensive examination of the celebrated architect's body of work from the early 1960s to the present, featuring over 200 drawings, many of which have never been seen publicly, and 65 models that illuminate the evolution of Gehry’s thinking. Enjoy a tour of Frank Gehry on Saturday at 11 am.

Celebrate Nowruz, the Iranian New Year, with a full day of activities throughout the campus on Sunday. With storytelling, calligraphy, crafts, a parade, and performances, enjoy the festivities from 11:30 am to 7 pm. To mark the holiday, Unframed chatted with Michael Pourmohsen, LACMA's director of graphic design, about celebrating Nowruz as a child. We also spoke with Maryam Ghanbarian, winner of the Farhang Foundation's 2016 Nowruz Festival banner contest, about Nowruz and the upcoming celebrations. Check out the full interviews on Unframed.
