Official Rules
NO PURCHASE, DONATION, OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER AND WIN. DONATION OR PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE CHANCE OF WINNING A PRIZE.
1. How to Enter: Follow @lacma on Instagram and post a photo of Urban Light on Instagram with #UrbanLightTurns10 in the caption. Using #UrbanLightTurns10 in the caption of a previously posted photo on Instagram also counts as an entry. No limit on number of entries.
2. Sweepstakes End Date: The dates of this sweepstakes are from January 28 through February 7. You must use #UrbanLightTurns10 on your photo of Urban Light by 5 pm PST on February 7. The drawing will take place on February 8.
3. Eligibility: You must be a legal, United States resident and 18 years or older as of the drawing date to be eligible to participate and win a prize. Void where prohibited.
4. How to Win/Odds of Winning: There are 10 winners for 10 prize packages. Each package includes one (1) Urban Light pin, one (1) Urban Light note block, one (1) Urban Light tote bag, five (5) Tattly temporary tattoos, and two (2) general admission passes to LACMA. Each package is valued at approximately $60 total. The prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from users that follow @lacma and have Instagram posts that use #UrbanLightTurns10, which were submitted properly and on time. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. However, we anticipate that the odds of winning a prize will range from 1 in 15,000 to 1 in 300,000. A designated agent of LACMA whose decisions are final will hold the drawing on February 8, 2018. Winners will be notified in the comments on the same post, and by direct message on Instagram. Winners must be following @lacma and must have used #UrbanLightTurns10 on a photo of Urban Light posted on Instagram. Winners need not be present to win. If a winner does not claim their prize within 48 hours of the announcement, their prize will be forfeited and another winner will be notified.
5. General Conditions: Winners will be required to sign and return any required paperwork by LACMA in order to claim their prize.
6. Release of Liability; Disclaimer of Warranties: By entering this sweepstakes, entrants agree, to the greatest extent allowed by law, to release LACMA from any liability arising from any injury, death, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from or in connection with the entry and/or participation in this sweepstakes, acceptance, possession, use, and/or misuse of the prize. LACMA shall not be responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the sweepstakes, any rules or promotional materials associated therewith, the selection or announcement of the potential actual winners, the award of the prizes, and the ability to qualify for and be able to accept or use the prizes. Furthermore, LACMA has no liability or responsibility for or related to the prizes and there are no warranties, representations or guarantees, express or implied, applicable to the sweepstakes. If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to tampering, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of LACMA, corrupt or affect administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, LACMA reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award prizes using all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination date.
