LACMA Is Closed Today...But Open Tomorrow!

December 25, 2018

LACMA is closed today, but will be open for extended holiday hours tomorrow, Wednesday, December 26. There's something for everyone at the museum. 3D: Double Vision for the film geek (there's a 3D theater!); Merce Cunningham, Clouds and Screens for fans of modern dance and artist collaborations; Fantasies and Fairy Tales for those intrigued by European fairy tales, myths, and legends; and, for artists of all ages, the Boone Children's Gallery, which is free and open to the public all day! Visitors of all ages are invited to explore the art of brush painting, and if you'd like tips or an introduction on painting techniques, our friendly staff are ready to help.

And don't forget to check out To Rome and Back: Individualism and Authority in Art, 1500–1800, which explores a significant moment in early Modern Europe, revealing the depth of Rome's impact from the Renaissance to the Enlightenment.
