Women Defining Women in Contemporary Art of the Middle East and Beyond presents 75 works by women artists who were born or live in what can broadly be termed Islamic societies. Visit this week to see the powerful narratives embedded in their art.
Join us on Wednesday, August 23, for Future Folk Dance: Dance Workshop with Leyya Mona Tawil. Taking inspiration from the artwork in the exhibition, the choreographer will lead an intergenerational movement workshop to create a folk dance that asks for listening, imagining, and, above all, togetherness.
