At LACMA, we're committed to making art accessible to all. Together, through LACMA Fund and the help of the community, we are able to make a significant impact in the lives of countless individuals, especially the young minds of Los Angeles. This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join our mission with a gift to LACMA Fund, which helps us continue offering an inspiring place to gather and learn.
LACMA Fund enables the museum to create a diversity of art education and community access programs, such as the examples below that were made possible last year.
-
Andell Family Sundays offered programming to 3,935 in-person participants and received 4,291 virtual views.
-
885 families, kids, teens, and adults attended 80 Art Classes and Camps.
-
NexGenLA Youth Membership—our FREE membership for children 17 years and younger who live in L.A. County—gained 33,735 new members.
-
Boone Children's Gallery welcomed 5,759 participants to its intergenerational painting space.
-
Evenings for Educators helped 456 K–12 teachers incorporate the visual arts into their classrooms.
-
8,389 students and teachers throughout L.A. County took part in free docent-led tours of LACMA exhibitions.
Together, we can continue to inspire, educate, and foster a love for the arts in our community. Your LACMA Fund gift, no matter the size, will make a world of difference.
We are grateful for your consideration and the role you play as part of the LACMA family. We wish you and your loved ones a very happy holiday season and hope to see you soon!
