This Week at LACMA

June 30, 2024

It's the last chance to see Imagined Fronts: The Great War and Global Media, now in its final week! Visit the exhibition to explore 200 objects by artists, war photographers, and filmmakers as well as soldiers from across several continents organized to consider how the media mobilized the masses, imagined the battlefield, facilitated the global war, and contained the aftermath.

For an even deeper look at Imagined Fronts, join a LACMA docent at a tour of the exhibition on Friday, July 5, or Sunday, July 7, free with museum admission. If you visit the museum on Friday or Saturday, stick around for one of our free outdoor concerts: Jazz at LACMA: Keyon Harrold and Latin Sounds: Susie Hansen Latin Band. Our next Classical Around Town concert also takes place at Sorenson Park on Saturday, July 6.
