This Week at LACMA

July 28, 2025

Nature on Notice: Contemporary Art and Ecology features more than 20 artists from around the globe engaging in a visual dialogue about the “new nature” we are living in. Visit Charles White Elementary School Gallery this Saturday, August 2, to experience the exhibition on its final day. You'll also be able to join artist Michele Lorusso's drop-in art workshop, Eco-Expressions, and stay for the Nature on Notice Closing: Zukunft Garten Mixer, a lively gathering featuring artists from the exhibition, art-making, and music.

Please note that LACMA currently offers limited on-site dining with daily featured food trucks on the Smidt Welcome Plaza, open during museum hours. See the schedule of daily offerings to see this week's featured food trucks. Limited seating, some with shade, is available on the plaza on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors are also welcome to bring food and beverages to enjoy on the plaza or on adjacent lawns in the park.
