For April, and as we approach the grand opening of the David Geffen Galleries, we're welcoming back Third Weekends at LACMA, which brings you art, culture, and community with a full schedule of programs and events all weekend long. From Thursday, April 16, through Monday, April 20, come enjoy talks, screenings, and special events you won't want to miss, including a special online presentation that will take you behind the scenes of installing thousands of artworks in the David Geffen Galleries.
On Monday, April 13, LACMA members have the exclusive opportunity to hear from CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director Michael Govan as he reflects on two decades of transformation at LACMA, highlighting major acquisitions that have shaped the museum’s campus and its ever-evolving collection. Interested in becoming a LACMA member? Join today to hear the talk and to be among the first to explore the David Geffen Galleries, opening April 19.
