LACMA Invites Los Angeles Icon Erewhon to Inaugurate New Café

LACMA is pleased to announce a partnership with Erewhon, the family-owned Southern California food retailer and café that has been providing organic, ethically sourced foods since 1968. Erewhon at LACMA launches April 19 for LACMA members attending previews of the David Geffen Galleries and will be open to all on May 4. Visitors can expect highlights from Erewhon, including organic coffee and matcha, fresh pastries, signature smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and a selection of grab-and-go meals and organic snacks. Erewhon at LACMA will be available through the summer.

Situated in the northeast pavilion on the W.M. Keck Plaza, Erewhon at LACMA includes indoor and outdoor seating overlooking Alexander Calder’s iconic fountain, Three Quintains (Hello Girls). Two additional dining options, the restaurant and wine bar, will open later this year.

“We are excited to launch Erewhon at LACMA for the opening season of the David Geffen Galleries,” said Michael Govan, LACMA CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director. “Erewhon is a Los Angeles icon that values creativity and wellbeing and is dedicated to its communities. We look forward to working together on delicious offerings for our diverse, intergenerational visitors. A moment of respite at Erewhon at LACMA, surrounded by public art, will be a vital part of the LACMA experience.”

“We’re so proud to partner with LACMA, a meaningful milestone as our first museum collaboration,” said Tony Antoci, CEO and owner of Erewhon, and Josephine Antoci, president and owner of Erewhon. “It really feels like a celebration of Los Angeles, bringing Erewhon and LACMA together to nourish and inspire the community we love.”

Erewhon at LACMA will be open during museum hours. Find more information on LACMA dining.
