This Week at LACMA

August 24, 2026

Eileen Cowin: Between Panic and Paradise is now open! Often blurring the distinction between nonfiction and fiction, Cowin draws on cinema, literature, poetry, and painting to shape her photographic narratives. The exhibition highlights the artist’s work with experimental photographic processes, Polaroids, inkjet prints, and videos, featuring works from LACMA’s collection and other Southern California museums.

Get introduced to the exhibition at an In Focus tour on Sunday, August 30, or drop in to one of our other free docent-led tours daily exploring other exhibitions at the museum.
