Featuring the work of 35 artists based in the Americas and Pacific, Grounded invites visitors to see land as a foundation for exploring ecology, sovereignty, memory, and home. The exhibition opens on Sunday, but members see it first. Member Previews are Thursday, September 11, through Saturday, September 13.
On Sunday, September 14, artist Zheng Chongbin will lead a free hands-on assemblage workshop for an intergenerational audience where participants will engage with themes of light, movement, and natural landscapes to create their own layered and textured original works of art inspired by California’s landscape and the exhibition Zheng Chongbin: Golden State.
