This week is a great time to explore new exhibitions at the museum, like the newly opened The Brockman Gallery: Los Angeles, 1967–1990, the first large-scale exhibition dedicated to the impact of the art space founded in South L.A. by brothers Alonzo and Dale Brockman Davis in the wake of the Watts Rebellion.
Also be sure to catch the recently opened Home of the Future, 1925–1985: Designing Domestic Utopias, which traces how the American home of tomorrow was imagined, packaged, and sold, and The Kitchen and Its Discontents, which brings two influential kitchens from LACMA’s collection into conversation. See all our current exhibitions.
Please note that on Saturday, November 7, LACMA will be closing early at 1 pm for a private event.
