This weekend marks the 11th annual SoCal Museums' Free-for-All! On Saturday, enjoy free general admission and free admission to special exhibition Frank Gehry. With over 20 museums throughout Los Angeles County participating this year, be sure to take advantage of this opportunity! SoCal Museums recommends either taking public transportation or biking to LACMA to reduce traffic and parking congestion.

Eduardo Sanchez, content specialist for Latin American Art at LACMA, will deliver an in-depth lecture on pre-Columbian art on Saturday morning for LACMA members. Sanchez will discuss the world and culture of the Ancient Americas, exploring the aesthetic sensibilities, influences of religion, and architectural styles of pre-Columbian art. The lecture begins at 9:30 am in the Bing Theater.

Karen E. Milbourne, curator at the National Museum of African Art, will discuss the temporal strategies and concepts of African time-based media on Sunday afternoon. In conjunction with the exhibition Senses of Time: Video and Film-Based Works of Africa, Milbourne's talk will illuminate the conception and production of these works. Her talk begins at 1 pm in the Bing Theater.

In the evening, Sundays Live brings violinist David Lisker to LACMA, performing Mozart: Sonata in B flat Major, K. 454 and Schubert: Fantasie for Violin and Piano, D. 934. The artistic director of the Lisker Music Foundation, Lisker has been studying violin since the age of five and his talent has taken him the world over. The performance begins at 6 pm in the Bing Theater.
