This Weekend at LACMA

This weekend brings After Dark: Teen Night on Saturday night. Teenagers grades 7–12 can enjoy the museum after hours, free of charge. Explore special exhibition Diana Thater: The Sympathetic Imagination and dance on the plaza to DJs and live bands. With food, a projection workshop, and a special Snapchat game, there's plenty to enjoy. Doors open at 7:30 pm and the evening ends at 10 pm.

Sundays Live brings duo pianists John and Mina Perry to the Bing Theater at 6 pm. Mina Hirobe Perry has performed in recitals as a soloist and chamber musician the world over. She also enjoys performing two piano/four hand repertoire. Distinguished artist and teacher, John Perry is currently a professor at the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, professor of piano at California State University Northridge in Los Angeles, visiting artist faculty at Boston University, and Professor Emeritus of the USC Thornton School of Music.

Tours this weekend include Art of the Ancient World on Friday at 3 pm, Living for the Moment: Japanese Prints from the Barbara S. Bowman Collection on Saturday at 1 pm, and Highlights of the Museum: The Written Word in Art on Sunday at 12 pm.
