Victor Guzman, Marketing Coordinator

Don't let this weekend go by without being one of the first to see our two new exhibitions opening this Sunday. Mark Grotjahn: 50 Kitchens and Decoding Mimbres Painting: Ancient Ceramics of the American Southwest opens Sunday, May 20. Member Previews for these exhibitions take place on May 19 and May 17–19, respectively.

This Saturday at 6:30 pm, bring a yoga mat, make new friends, and find your center with an experienced yoga instructor in front of Michael Heizer's Levitated Mass at LACMA Local: Sunset. To join this event and other one-of-a-kind opportunities, become a LACMA Local Member today.

And if you are a teen in grades 6–8 or know someone who is, bring the party to LACMA's Teen Night: Middle School on Saturday, May 19, at 7:30 pm. There will be after-hours gallery access showcasing Creatures of the Earth, Sea, and Sky: Painting the Panamanian Cosmos, art workshops, dancing, and bands, all free of charge with a reservation
