Last Chance for Wu Bin: Ten Views of a Lingbi Stone

June 21, 2018

This is the last weekend to catch Wu Bin: Ten Views of a Lingbi Stone before it closes! Focusing on the most extraordinary painting of a stone ever created in China, Wu Bin's Ten Views of a Lingbi Stone, the exhibition also showcases several superb examples of Chinese Lingbi and Taihu stones (including a magnificent Taihu stone acquired by LACMA in 2017), along with several works depicting stones by contemporary ink painters Zeng Xianjun, Yao Wing-feng, and Leung Kui-ting.

Learn more about the painting and these strange stones valued in China over centuries, and test your knowledge with these fun factoids about the painting.

Wu Bin: Ten Views of a Lingbi Stone is on view in the Resnick Pavilion through June 24, 2018.
