This Weekend at LACMA

This weekend, Jazz at LACMA continues with a world-class performance by saxophone and woodwind specialist Louis Van Taylor on Friday, at 6 pm. 

On Saturday, join one of the free exhibition tours for A Universal History of Infamy: Those of this America at the museum's satellite gallery within Charles White Elementary School at either 1:30 or 3 pm. The exhibition presents work by contemporary Latino artists, writers, and activists alongside several pieces from LACMA's collection. Then at 5 pm at Latin Sounds, enjoy performances by Grammy winner Freddie Ravel, dubbed by the City of Los Angeles as the "Keynote Maestro." 

On Sunday, iPalpiti soloists Davide and Sara de Ascaniis perform Schubert: "Fantasie in C major. D. 934" for Sundays Live.

Lastly, make sure to get a last look at the exhibitions Ancient Bodies: Transformation, Personhood, and Power in Mesoamerica and A Tale of Two Persian Carpets (One by One): The Ardabil and Coronation Carpets closing this Sunday.
