This Sunday, March 16, is the annual SoCal Museums Free-for-All, when LACMA will be joining over 30 other local museums to offer free admission all day long. LACMA will be open 10 am–7 pm, and free advance timed-entry tickets are required, so make sure you reserve your spot before you visit.

Free tickets include admission to all galleries and current exhibitions, including Digital Witness: Revolutions in Design, Photography, and Film; Imagining Black Diasporas: 21st-Century Art and Poetics; Ritual Expressions: African Adornment from the Permanent Collection; We Live in Painting: The Nature of Color in Mesoamerican Art; and the Modern Art Galleries.
You can also get an in-depth look at what’s on view with free docent-led tours exploring monumental artworks around the LACMA campus, Mesoamerican art in We Live in Painting, and highlights of our Modern Art collection. From 12:30–3:30, visitors of all ages can join free art-making activities at our Andell Family Sundays drop-in workshops and the accompanying Fiber Maker’s Circle.

LACMA is located near other arts and culture institutions like the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Craft Contemporary, and the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum, which are also taking part in the free-for-all, so you can explore them all. Get more info and reserve your free tickets to LACMA.
